Key Takeaways

• Data going back to December 2018 shows wine subscriptions have clearly boomed amid the COVID-19 era

As stay at home orders become the norm nationwide, people have been finding their own ways of coping with the increased time at home. DTC brands have had mixed results during this COVID-19 crisis, where despite the delivery model suiting a shelter-in-place economy, consumers are spending less.

In order to see for ourselves how alcohol sales have been affected by COVID-19, Edison Trends took a deep dive into over 3,700 wine subscription transactions going back to December 2018 to understand more.
